Youth & Volunteer Opportunities

Cheyenne's Hammer

The Museum always needs fun, enthusiastic, dependable teens and adults who want to work around children, build a resume, meet new people and have fun! If you have special skills to contribute, like gardening or woodworking, we need your help! For more information, please call 505-989-8359.

Teen Volunteer Program

The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is very proud to host the Teen Volunteer Program. Volunteering at the museum gives teens solid work experience that will serve them throughout their lives. Teens age 15 and older can volunteer in the visitor services department and help facilitate learning through play on the museum floor. Most work shifts are 3-4 hours and will be scheduled in accordance with the teen’s availability. For more information, please call 505-989-8359.

Teen volunteers must be 15 years or older and have completed their freshman year of high school. Orientation dates TBD.  Applicants must turn in the application to the front desk BEFORE being confirmed to attend an orientation.

To sign up as a Teen Volunteer, click here to download the Teen Volunteer Application (this is the application for all those under 18 years of age) and mail to the Museum (1050 Old Pecos Trail, Santa Fe, NM 87505) or stop by to drop it off in person.
