A weekly exploration into the arts with special guests and exciting hands-on activities!

Come celebrate the Lunar New Year with a vey special Lion Dance (2 pm – 2:30 pm) then make your very own paper lions!
Quang Minh Lion Dance: The Quang Minh Lion Dance Group is a non-profit lion dance troupe based out of the Quang Minh Temple. The troupe practices a specific style of Lion Dance called Lân Chiến. This style is very thrilling and filled with motion, requiring a great deal of strength and endurance. Lion Dancing is generally accompanied by drums, cymbals, and/or gongs. These instruments are played loudly and can be heard from quite a distance, helping to guide the dancers.
