The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is honored to partner with Gerard’s House to welcomes families to participate in a meaningful program, dedicated to support children (0-8) navigating a loss.
Join us to create a “Plate of Memories” to celebrate the foods that remind us of the people or places we miss. Each participant will design a plate filled with foods that represent special memories or personal traditions. This creative activity gives kids and families a chance to share their stories, honor their loved ones, and celebrate the connections that remain even when we are apart.
Event will include:
Hands-on, grief-related activities led by Gerard’s House
Meaningful opportunities to process change and regulate emotions through play
Resources for normalizing grief, raising bereavement awareness, and finding support for children and families
Reading corner with free books and brochures to help continue conversations beyond the event
This program is included with regular Museum admission.
