Angelia Velarde-Logsdon is the President of the veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 2951. She joined the VFW Auxiliary through the eligibility of her husband, Gary Dale Logsdon. He served in the United States Air Force as a PJ (Pararescue). His combat deployments include Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. He was awarded the Air Force Cross Medal for Combat Valor, Bronze Star Medal for Combat Valor, and 2 Purple Heart Medals. Knowing the experiences and trauma our service men and women endure, we understand the importance of supporting our veterans and promoting Patriotism in our community.
