Birthday Parties

Traditional Party

Come play and celebrate your birthday or any other milestone with family and friends!  Our party room allows you a private space to celebrate with cake, presents, and refreshments while having direct access to the museum.

This option includes:

  • Admission to the museum for up to 30 people (adults and children) for the entire day.
  • Private party room for your celebration for one and a half hours.
  • A special throne seat for the birthday child.
  • You may bring your own food, cake, and refreshments (alcohol not permitted).

Prices & Schedule:

Member: $250
Non-Member: $350

Additional guests are welcome: $10 each

Traditional Birthday Parties are based on availability during normal business hours (Wednesday – Saturay). When feasible, party time can be extended by 30 minutes for an additional charge of $100 at time of reservation.

Backyard Party 

Want to have a party at the Museum, but would like to enjoy Santa Fe's weather outside? Rent our Party Patio! 

Includes:

  • Enjoy your private outside corner of the Museum with your guests for 2 hours!
  • Admission to the museum for up to 20 people (adults and children) for the entire day.
  • Relax in the sun, on the grass, or get some shade under our canopy.

Prices & Schedule:

Member: $250
Non-Member: $350

The Party Patio is able to be booked based on availability during normal business hours (Wednesday – Saturday). When feasible, party time can be extended by 30 minutes for an additional charge of $50 at time of reservation.

Imagine celebrating your birthday or another milestone with family & friends by having the entire Museum to yourself! Private parties at the museum can be scheduled when the Museum is closed to the public (after hours/ Sunday – Tuesday) and offer an all-access pass to fun!



Private Parties Include:

 ∙ Private party room for your celebration for two hours.
 ∙ Admission to the museum for up to 40 people (adults and children) for the entire day.
 ∙ You may bring your own food and refreshments (alcohol not permitted).

Prices & Schedule:

Member: $350
Non-Member: $400

Additional guests are welcome: $10 each

Private Parties may be booked on Sundays, when the Museum is closed to the public. When feasible, party time can be extended by 30 minutes for an additional charge of $100 at time of reservation.

OTHER *RENTALS:

Indoor Classroom/Conference – $75/per hour
Woods' Outdoor Classoom/Conference – $50/per hour

*Classroom Rentals do not include Museum Admission for attendees.

DETAILS:

  • ** Reservations are confirmed with full payment, prior to the party. **
  • All parties are subject to availability.
  • Museum members do not receive free admission to private parties.  They count toward the guests in attendendance.
  • You will be asked to give a form of payment as a deposit for additional guests ($10 per guest), overage time ($100/per 30 minutes), or incidentals/additional cleaning needed after your event ($100).
  • Party room set-up is allowed 45 minutes prior to party start time and 30 minutes after party end time is reserved for clean-up.  This will be strictly enforced in order to assure the availability of the room for the next reservation.
  • If a child is being dropped off at your party, you are responsible for that child's safety and welfare.
  • All refreshments and foods other than water must be consumed in the private party room, the snack room, or outside.
  • Balloons and piñatas are not allowed inside the Museum. (Weather permiting, piñatas may be used outside).
  • Smoking and alcohol consumption on Museum Property is strictly prohibited.
