2021 Winter Explorers Camp
Two wondrous weeks of winter break fun!

(Ages 5-8)

Explore the magic world of wizardry and adventure into the arctic with us!

Campers will be enchanted by our weekly themes and educated through art, science, and play each day!

The jam-packed program includes STEAM activities led by our experienced museum educators, special private playtimes both inside and out, and weekly presentations of real animals by the New Mexico Wildlife Center!

Week 1 (Dec. 20th – 24th): WINTER WIZARD LAB
Winter Wizard Lab: a whimsical investigation of imagination and ingenuity. Craft a mysterious cloak, design a wonderful wand, and keep note in your secret handmade spellbook to answer the question, will it fly, float, or disappear?

Week 2 (Dec. 27th – 31st): ARCTIC ANIMAL ADVENTURE
Gear up and learn about the most treacherous of tundras. Make an LED lantern from scratch, cook a fish with fire, build a survival fort and get creative with creatures through costuming and experiments!
