We Bee Buzzin'  is a Museum From Home partnership highlighting the work of the talented Natasha Vasquez, an intern with The Cultural Technology Internship Program at New Mexico Highlands University. This program places New Mexico Highlands University Media Arts & Technology students at different art and cultural institutions across the State of NM.

Natasha Vasquez is a recent graduate from New Mexico Highlands University who received her degree in Media Arts with an emphasis in Interactivity and Multimedia. She is proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, and Blender. As a creator, she especially enjoys illustration and 3D modeling, but also enjoys interactive exhibition and visual communications.

She has spent the past six weeks working with our team to create a series of stop animation projects for you, with bees as her subject. Why bees? We rely on bees to pollinate 71 of the 100 crops that provide 90% of most of the world’s food. Imagine no almonds, fewer apples and strawberries, less alfalfa to feed dairy cows, and the list goes on!

So, get ready to beeee creative!
