Earthworks Garden

Two girls play with soil in the garden at the Museum.

The Earthworks Garden is a place where children and adults can connect with the natural world.

Earthworks encompasses more than an acre of exhibits and natural habitat with fruit and nut trees and is managed by a certified Master Gardener as a model of sustainable southwest gardening techniques.

Watch for pop-up programs! Whether it's storytelling or cooking lessons, local artists or dance troupes, baking biscochitos (the NM state cookie) in the adobe horno or making mud pies, fun happens outdoors at the Museum.
