Blue Lewis Flax (Linum lewisii)

Imagine a flower that wakes up with the sun! Blue Lewis Flax has beautiful blue petals that open early in the morning. By the time the afternoon heat arrives, the flowers close up for the day. Because they wake up so early, they are best friends with early-rising bees who stop by for a sweet snack.

These flowers are tough and don’t need much water, making them perfect for a sunny garden. When you plant a bunch of them together, they look like a soft, waving blue cloud.
