The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is the recipient of a $4,000 grant from the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Downtown Kiwanis Foundation, using proceeds from the Burning of Zozobra.
The museum will use funding to provide Title 1 schools across Northern New Mexico with free field trips, giving students from underserved communities the opportunity to visit the museum and to learn from its variety of programs and exhibits.
The money will help fund approximately 23 field trips serving 800 children.
