LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR GUEST ARTIST:
My name is Kevin Overhulser and I have been an old-fashioned freehand silhouette artist for the past 25 years. When I lived in the area, India Nixon, the Museum and Community Programs Team Manager for SFCM, would let me come in and cut whenever I had some free time. I now live in AZ and cut for the Children’s Museum of Phoenix. Each year I come to NM for Christus Saint Vincent’s Healthy Kids Day for which I am a vendor. I plan to stay in NM for several weeks this year and am hoping I might still be welcome to come to the museum and cut paper portraits for visiting families. As always, I never charge anything, and even though out of fashion, It still makes a nice, frameable, memento.
