Come to the Museum every Saturday for a Social Emotional Education and Arts program!

Each week will have a different focus and all guest will be working on a collaborative vision board!

Secrets of the Heart® is a standards-based digital curriculum that promotes social and emotional development for children 2-8. Through multi-disciplinary arts experiences that include music, dance, theatre, visual arts and puppetry, children learn universal values that enhance their self-awareness and overall well-being. Concepts like kindness, courage, identity, strength, individuality, compassion, and creativity are “secrets” that help children recognize feelings, learn about themselves and strengthen their relationships with others.

TODAY’S THEME: Imagination

Create together while finding Mexico on the Map! This week we will explore ways to use our imagination to create brand new things and add to our vision board!

Through Secrets of the Heart® children learn to:

–Appreciate their individuality

-Express their emotions

-Value kindness and compassion

-Identify feelings

-Treasure diversity

-Cherish the arts
