Zozobra™ Now & Forever! (¡Zozobra Ahora y Siempre!) ~ Special Fine Art Friday

January 19 @ 2:00 pm 4:00 pm

Join the Santa Fe Children’s Museum in a year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of The Burning of Zozobra™ in 2024!

Enjoy today’s special Fine Art Friday program! Please join the Museum’s Community Art partners for an afternoon of making the historic corn husk Old Man Glooms dolls. As we continue to celebrate the 100th year of its first burning. Also called Old Man Gloom, he carries worries and glooms away in flames, as we celebrate and dance. The 100th burning of the huge 50-foot marionette is August 30, 2024. Come and enjoy this project to collect your worries and wishes!
