VIP Play Parties can be scheduled before opening hours on Sundays, giving your group exclusive access to every exhibit and hands-on activity. It’s a one-of-a-kind way to make memories, spark curiosity, and turn any celebration into an unforgettable adventure!

VIP Play Parties Include:

  • All-access exclusive visit to enjoy entire museum & Backyard (including 30+ immersive exhibits) for up to 30 people (adults and children) 
  • Use of Private Birthday Party Room, the patio at the Woods Outdoor Classroom for 2 hours
  • SFCM party host to assist, as needed
  • A special throne seat for the birthday child
  • Ability to bring your own food, cake, and refreshments (alcohol not permitted)

Member: $450
Non-Member: $500

Additional guests are welcome: $10 each


VIP Play Parties may be booked on Sundays, when the Museum is closed to the public. When feasible, party time can be extended by 30 minutes for an additional charge of $50 at time of reservation.

WHAT NOW?

  • Once you have submitted your reservation form above, our Reservations Manager will email you within 4 business days the agreement form and payment link. You have 14 days from the payment email to make the full payment.
  • A birthday party booking will not be considered complete until the Museum receives the full payment and signed agreement. Agreements are included in the payment email you receive after completing the request form.
  • After making the payment and signing the agreement form, you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Parties are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
  • Party renters are responsible for their valuables at all times.
  • Parties must stay within specified guest capacities. If parties go over the capacity limit any additional guests will be subject to pay the discounted price of $10 (adult and child).
