Celebrate with family and friends in our private party room featuring both indoor and outdoor spaces. Enjoy cake, presents, and refreshments, all with direct access to the museum for a day full of fun, discovery, and memories that last a lifetime!

Traditional Parties include:

  • Admission to the museum & Backyard (including 30+ immersive exhibits) for up to 25 people (adults and children)
  • Private Birthday Party Room, Woods Outdoor Classroom, and access to the entire Museum for 1.5 hours
  • SFCM party host to assist, as needed
  • A special throne seat for the birthday child
  • Ability to bring your own food, cake, and refreshments (alcohol not permitted)

Member: $325

Non-Member: $375

Additional guests are welcome: $10 each


Traditional Birthday Parties are based on availability during regular business hours. When feasible, party time can be extended by 30 minutes for an additional charge of $50 at the time of reservation.

WHAT NOW?

  • Once you’ve submitted the Reservation Form above, our Reservations Manager will email you within 4 business days the agreement form and payment link. You have 14 days from the payment email to make the full payment.
  • A birthday party booking will not be considered complete until the Museum receives the full payment and signed agreement. Agreements are included in the payment email you receive after completing the request form.
  • After making the payment and signing the agreement form, you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Parties are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
  • Party renters are responsible for their valuables at all times.
  • Parties must stay within specified guest capacities. If parties go over the capacity limit any additional guests will be subject to pay the discounted price of $10 (adult and child).
