Lavender (Ladendula Sp.)
In the sunny mountains of New Mexico, lavender plants grow big and strong! These plants have a super powerful smell that insects absolutely love. During the summer, you can find lots of busy bees visiting the pretty purple flowers. These flowers are also a favorite snack for our state butterfly, the Two-Tailed Swallowtail!
